How do apps and web work for the boost mobile androids?

I’m new to owning a smartphone. i have owned an itouch before and there were alot of Free Apps. how does the Android Apps compare to the itouch apps? how fast is android web browsing without wifi? are there alot of free android apps? like gps

1) There are lots of apps. Not as many as iOS apps, but they are getting there.

2) Web browsing depends on your connection speed.
